I must really commemorate this day cuz Kimi Raikkonen won the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE!

Oh. My. God. Simply unbelievable and phenomenal. You must remember one of my posts nearly 2 weeks ago, working out the possibilities that Kimi can win the championship (which weren't much because there's only 2 ways about it). And he did it! What a miracle. The whole time I was watching with Reub this morning (the race started at 12 am), both of us cannot believe that it was really happening. Our mouths were hanging wide with a big O.

Hamilton was just damn suey, losing his 2nd position on the starting grid to 8th and then to 18th following a gearbox glitch. And Massa played the team game well, blocking Hamilton at the start of the race so that Kimi could get a clear straight and then overtook Hamilton from 3rd to 2nd. Then Ferrari let Kimi stayed out for 5 or 6 more laps so that he can easily overtake Massa when he came out from his pitstop. So it was a Ferrari 1-2 from there, with Kimi at the top right till the chequered flag. What a happy, happy moment! Reub and I were totally speechless. Kimi is finally lucky enough this time round (cuz he has always been so good but just very unlucky the past 5 years in McLaren) to win his maiden championship title in his first year with Ferrari. Go Kimi!


As for Hamilton, what a big disappointment for him. He could've created history 2 weeks ago at China GP and now he lost his chance again to be the first rookie ever (not to mention he's actually the first black driver in F1) to grab a championship title.

Okay I am just so happy. But I have to get back to my tutorials and projects and try to think of how to improve my class participation grade from a lousy 3 to at least a 2 out of 4. ZZZ.
